    September jobs chart

The U.S. economy added 104,000 private sector jobs in September and unemployment dropped below 8%, the lowest rate since January 2009. Over 31 straight months, we’ve now added a total of 5.2 million jobs.

President Obama knows there’s more work to be done to keep us on the path forward, but today's news is progress from any point of view.
