Today, the Department of Health and Human Services announced that thanks to the Affordable Care Act, 3.1 million young Americans—who would otherwise be uninsured—have been able to stay on their parents' health insurance plans until they turn 26.

That's 3.1 million more people with access to preventive care, like checkups and flu shots. It's 3.1 million more people who can afford the coverage they need to stay healthy. It’s 3.1 million more young people who don’t have to worry about putting their careers and their dreams on hold if they get sick.

It’s a big deal—so use the Twitter and Facebook buttons above to help get the word out.
