• #EndThisNow: OFA keeps pressure on Congress

While Congress stalled, supporters moved on with nationwide day of action.

A lot of Americans are outraged by the political games that a group of Tea Party Republicans have been playing with our economy. OFA supporters made their voices heard this week, telling Congress to pay its bills and end the government shutdown.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—“I think we all deserve something better than what’s happening," said Cindi Sciulli. "We don’t like to see our government shut down, we’re very concerned about all of the people that this is going to be affecting: veterans, older people, children, especially the most vulnerable in our society.”

Phoenix, Arizona—OFA supporters gathered outside of the Social Security building in Phoenix to call on Congress to end the Tea Party shutdown.

San Antonio, Texas—Eighteen volunteers gathered outside of Senator Ted Cruz's office, including one Spider-Man. Cruz's opposition to Obamacare was instrumental in driving our country into the government shutdown.

    Las Cruces, New Mexico
—OFA-NM supporters drew attention outside of Representative Steve Pearce's district office.

Herndon, Virginia—OFA-VA spelled it out, plain and simple: #EndThisNow.
