    It's time to kickstart the conversation on the needs of today's working families.

    Last week, Americans joined President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for The White House Summit on Working Families to start a conversation about improving workplace environments to help families succeed. The summit brought everyday citizens, policymakers, and businesses together to discuss real solutions to this issue.

    In communities across the nation, OFA supporters hosted events to discuss the issues, like updating workplace policies to adequately address basic needs like family paid leave, sick pay, and affordable childcare. The shared challenges revealed in these conversations highlighted the need for urgent action on building 21st century workplace policies.
