On average, women only make 77 cents for every dollar a man earns—even while more women are becoming breadwinners in their families.
That’s why President Obama is working to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, a law that would strengthen the Equal Pay Act by giving women even more support to fight against gender discrimination in the workplace.
