Nicholas is a student from Colorado who will be voting for the first time in the fall. His reason for supporting President Obama’s re-election is simple:
“We need jobs. And to get jobs, we need a quality education. The opportunities that are available to us are only possible because of the work the President is doing on Pell Grants and student loans. He pulled us back from the brink of disaster in 2008, and he knows that education is the foundation of a sustainable economy. I believe in President Obama and the most important thing we can do for the future of this country is to give him a second term in office.”
And Nicholas is doing everything he can to make sure that happens.
“In order for the President to combat the obscene amount of campaign dollars coming in through super PACs and special interests, it really does take every dollar. My donation may have been small in its dollar amount. But I’m proud of the fact that I’m able to act on my political beliefs and take ownership of this election. The issues in this election will affect our generation for the rest of our lives, and they’ll affect us when it’s our turn to lead the country.”
2.2 million people, including Nicholas, have given to this campaign—will you join them?

“We’ve had 29 straight months of job growth and I don’t want to see Mitt Romney undo all of that good work. When President Obama’s Recovery Act took place, that’s when our economy started improving.
“His work on the rescue of the auto industry helped a ton of my friends in Michigan. A lot of them have good jobs now as a result. I also really believe in Obamacare. Anytime you can get 30 million more people health insurance, that’s great for this country. He’s a strong leader who makes good decisions on foreign affairs. I support his stance on gay marriage. There are so many reasons why President Obama has my vote.
