President Obama believes that environmental issues and economic recovery go hand in hand. That’s why he fought for more than $11 billion from the Recovery Act to go toward a number of job-creating projects, including marine habitat restoration and water quality improvements. These funds are helping the United States lead the way in “green” technology advancements, which will make us healthier, improve our environment, and lead us down the road to recovery.
