OFA volunteers are teaming up with the Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility to organize for Initiative 594, a common-sense measure to expand background checks for all gun sales. Seven in ten Washingtonians support the measure, but we still have a lot of work to do in the coming months to make sure it becomes law.
Taking a risk in business is one thing, but taking a risk with my health is not an option. Sure, my health will always be a factor in my life, but whose isn’t? The important thing is that it doesn’t define who I am, and it doesn’t dictate my choices. Because I’m covered, I can live the life I want to live, and that’s what matters.
