    WH 9.11

"On Sept 11th, 2001 I was just a high school senior.

"By Sept 11th, 2002, I was training at Ft Knox, KY to serve in the US Army.

"A year later - Sept 11, 2003 - I had only just gotten back from my first tour of Iraq.

"That first morning eleven years ago I, like many people, felt called to action. Service was the answer, serving my neighbors and my community to fight the terror that threatened to envelope our nation.

"That’s why I’m grateful to President Obama, a man who doesn’t just support service now, but who has been serving his country his whole life.

"Here, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 I am reminded of the families who lost loved ones and the troops who continue to fight everyday to defend our freedom. I am reminded of how this President brought justice to Osama Bin-Laden, the master-mind behind the attacks. And as a veteran, I am reminded of how dedicated my commander-in-chief remains to protecting our country and those who serve it."
