Today, over 30,000 egg-cited kids and parents joined the First Family for the 134th White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn.
Julia B. from Alva, OK and her granddaughter Freya N. from Oklahoma City were there and participated in the festivities centered around the theme “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move!”
Activities included games helping kids learn fun ways to stay fit, a “Play with Your Food” healthy cooking demonstration, and story time with President Obama reading Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are” accompanied by First Dog, Bo.
So what does Julia think of the Easter Egg Roll?
“It was the best time we’ve ever had together!”
