Join the team that is working to pass the agenda Americans voted for in 2012
Organizing for Action (OFA) is a nonprofit organization established to advance the national agenda Americans voted for when they re-elected President Obama in 2012. OFA will advocate for these policies throughout the country and will mobilize citizens of all parties and diverse points of view to speak out for the speedy passage and effective implementation of this agenda, including, but not limited to gun violence prevention, immigration reform, sensible environmental policies to address climate change, marriage equality, state legislative affairs and our Stand With Women issue campaign. In addition, OFA will encourage the formation of chapters that will be dedicated to these programs at the grassroots level, but also committed to identifying and working towards progressive change on a range of issues at the state and local level.
Organizing for Action is an equal opportunity employer.
Organizing for Action is launching a Spring 2014 Fellowship Program geared at recruiting the next generation of organizers into the progressive movement. We are looking for passionate new leaders who are interested in exploring OFA's broad scope approach to issue advocacy. Fellows can expect to learn best practices in the areas of community organizing, media relations, and grassroots fundraising. The Spring Organizing Fellowship is an unpaid, volunteer program. OFA is looking for volunteers who are interested in donating their time to the program, without the expectation of pay, for civic and public service purposes. The program is competitive, and the application process will be rigorous. The deadline to apply is January 26th, and the program will begin in February.
OFA is now accepting applications for full-time and part-time HQ Interns for the Spring 2014 and Summer 2014 HQ Internship Programs in Chicago, IL.
