Obama, Kaukauna talk taxes

Democrat Barack Obama brought a fierce populist message to the state on Thursday, hoping his push for middle-class tax cuts proves popular here and in other battlegrounds. The message was delivered before a crowd of about 2,500 in a high school gym in a small town in the Fox Valley, a key area in a critical state in the presidential battle. The response: Adoration. Speaking at a town hall meeting at Kaukauna High School, Obama had the crowd cheering his answers and even making suggestions for an Obama administration.
